Congratulations to Brandi Coats, Unit Secretary on our Women's Services floor, this month’s Sunshine Award recipient at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas!

“Brandi is the face of the entire Women’s Services department. Brandi is the first person our patients and visitors see. She treats everyone she meets the way she would want to be treated. She goes above and beyond to help out in every way possible and is ALWAYS willing to jump into action for any situation. She is the hardest working unit secretary I’ve encountered in this hospital.

Brandi doesn’t get nearly enough recognition for all that she does for our floor! She makes all 3 units run like a well-oiled machine and helps us all make it through the day. I would truly be lost without her help every day.”

The Sunshine award exists to help recognize hospital staff members that support nursing staff! Without sunshine, DAISYs wouldn't be able to grow and likewise, nurses at The Medical Center wouldn't be able to do their jobs without so many people that work in the background to make everything possible.
