Port Arthur, Texas (August 10, 2015) – The Medical Center of Southeast Texas announced today that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the assets of Victory Medical Center Beaumont. The transaction is expected to be completed during the third quarter of 2015, and is subject to certain closing conditions and requirements.

Victory Medical Center Beaumont opened in May of 2013. The facility offers a wide range of surgical and diagnostic services. Its medical staff includes numerous highly trained physicians practicing in Southeast Texas.

The Medical Center of Southeast Texas recently celebrated ten years of providing quality, compassionate care in the Golden Triangle region. The inclusion of Victory Medical Center in the hospital’s operations is expected to build on the hospital’s status as a premier local healthcare facility, providing a full range of acute care and specialty medical services including obstetrics and neonatal intensive care, comprehensive cardiac, surgical, general medical, and emergency services.
